I am forever thankful for whatever led me to melting glass. In the years since I have found a passion for kiln firing glass to create functional pieces and jewelry, extraordinary wall art, and whimsical just-for-fun pieces. I am perhaps best known for my fearless use of dichroic glass, carefully combining color, pattern and shape into joyfully bold works. Glass enamels have found their way into my work as well. Intensely colored powdered enamels are mixed with liquid medium and playfully applied to a glass base providing infinite one-of-a-kind patterns. Some pieces incorporate hand made lampworked elements and hand pulled murinni. All pieces are then kiln fired after which they can be re-fired to slump into ceramic molds, or attached to mounts for hanging.
