A vibrant community of artists and art enthusiasts
We Are The Canvas of St. Louis.
We're a non-profit organization, and we thrive on the support of our members and the proceeds from our national recognized juried art shows, the Queeny Art Fair. Our mission is to promote the visual arts and art education across the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.
Where Art Thrives. Creativity Grows. Inspiration Flourishes.
Our Mission
Greater St. Louis Artists (GSLA) is a passionate, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting visual arts and fostering creativity throughout the St. Louis region. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to uplift artists, inspire the community, and ensure that art remains a vibrant part of our culture. For more than 50 years, GSLA has been home to artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts who believe in the power of creativity to connect people and enrich lives.
The Iconic Queeny Art Fair
We proudly host two nationally juried art shows each year—spring and fall—at Queeny Park. As the longest-running juried art fair in the region, it features over 120 talented artists and attracts thousands of visitors who come to discover, collect, and celebrate art. Proceeds from these events directly fund art education and scholarships.
Investing in the Next Generation
Every spring, GSLA awards merit-based scholarships to high school seniors pursuing higher education in art. These scholarships help nurture emerging talent and ensure that creativity continues to thrive in our community.
Empowering Artists
Beyond the art fairs, GSLA is deeply committed to artist empowerment. Through mentorship, education, and resources, we help artists build skills, gain exposure, and establish sustainable practices for long-term success.
