Laurie's work is influenced by nature... intriguing cabochons and semi-precious gemstones inspire her to design and fabricate settings in Argentium Silver, creating one-of-a-kind works of art. Her metalsmithing skills have evolved over the years of more than bezel-setting a stone to generating a stylized imagery. She recycles silver sheet and wire, casting botanicals and found objects in silver using the lost wax method captures nature's splendor. Cast pieces are incorporated into jewelry designs and are beautiful and stunning alone as a ring or pendant.
