In my artistic practice, I fuse the disciplines of metal smithing and lapidary arts to conceive distinctive and meticulously crafted pieces. My artistic focus centers on the creation of rings, inlay jewelry, and gem stone-handled knives that blend both utilitarian functionality and aesthetic allure.
I incorporate an eclectic range of materials, including silver, silver coins, alluring mokume gane patterns, resilient Damascus steel, and captivating rare earth minerals (gem stones). This fusion allows me to push myself to achieve technical proficiency, create a strong aesthetic and showcase the innate to the materials.
Each hand-crafted piece embodies a blend of form and function, designed to spark engaging conversations due to its uniqueness and the raw allure of the materials employed.
