Edward Martin is an award-winning artist who has spent over 47 years developing his craft. He is part of the exciting "Outsider Art" movement. He is entirely self-taught and has no outside influences on his work.
Working in his studio at home in Springfield, Illinois, he has perfected his unique style of contemporary glassmaking.
He is currently working on contemporary 3-dimensional works in fusible glass and is extensively working with metal to create a truly unique extension to his work.
Ed Martin solely designs all work, and no pieces are ever duplicated.
Five pieces of his work have been purchased by the Imagine Glass Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, for their permanent collection.
Throughout his career, he has created a vast body of work encompassing all facets of glass, a small portion of which can be viewed on his website.
Ed Martin has exhibited his work from Los Angeles to New York, and due to his unique approach, his work is collected by people from all over the country, with some having over 50 pieces in their collections.
