About

Dorothy

Dorothy Yearwood Walker is a visionary artist whose oil paintings explore the emotional spectrum of humanity through angels, landscapes, and expressive faces. Her work radiates serenity, hope, and introspection—an invitation to reflect on the deeper dimensions of love, energy, and inner conflict.

A native of New York and raised in the peaceful countryside of New Jersey, Dorothy draws inspiration from her surroundings and her global travels. Her art is shaped by a lifetime of inquiry into the human spirit, expressed not only through visual form but also in poetry and essays that contemplate life’s challenges and beauty.

Dorothy holds a Ph.D. in Conflict Resolution from Nova Southeastern University, where she explored the effects of energy transference on interpersonal dynamics. She is also a TED Talk speaker, certified project manager, and writer. Her work embodies a unique fusion of emotional intelligence, artistic intuition, and scholarly insight.
With every brushstroke, Dorothy aims to transfer positive energy—to awaken the innate capacity for peace, love, and resilience within us all.

If you are interested in viewing Dorothy’s portfolio of oil paintings, or would like to purchase an original painting, framed print, or unframed print, please contact her at Internationalvisionart@gmail.com A website will be available soon.
