Gary Beazley

Gary Beazley, a plein air watercolor artist studied art at VA Tech in Blacksburg, VA and he relocated to St Louis, MO in 1976 to pursue a career in commercial art.

Gary now devotes much of his time to fine art and enters plein air art festivals in Augusta, Ste Genevieve, St Louis, Webster Groves and other towns in the Midwest.

Beazley’s love of history and the outdoors have found him painting primarily in quaint or historic small towns. He has put together a rather compact and portable studio, so his watercolors can easily be taken while traveling.

His watercolors are translucent, his touch is light and airy and he never uses a masking medium or white paint.
