My jewelry is created from the combination of my love of the natural energy that radiates from stones and the peaceful focus needed to manipulate & form metal. My work generally starts with the building a setting to best present an artistic stone or simple silver pieces with combinations of different textures and small stones. I strive to build elegant showcase with metal, mostly silver, to create pleasing pieces of wearable art. Settings are hand fabricated by cutting and piercing metal and soldering various components into the setting.

My journey into metalsmithing began later in my life after a long career working with retirement plans & programs. I began working with metals in 2014 and have been drawn to it from the moment I first experienced the thrill of soldering together two pieces of metal. I have taken most of the metal classes offered by Craft Alliance, lapidary classes with John Heusler and various workshops in the St. Louis area.

Annie Dell Designs is a combination of my Mom's and Aunt's names. It is my way of honoring them and bringing their love of wearing jewelry for adornment and ~bling~.
